6 Excuses Why Your Dreams are Dormant

We all have dreams. We all want to be better and do better. But sometimes, it just doesn't seem like we're going to make it.
Here are 6 excuses why your dreams are never achieved:
1. Fear of Failure
Because it's scary to put yourself out there. It's scary to take a risk, and it's even scarier when it doesn't work out the way you planned. But that's what makes failure so important. If you never fail, then you're not pushing yourself hard enough—you're not trying anything new. You're not learning anything new about yourself or the world around you. And that means that all your successes will be small ones because they'll be built on the same ground as your failures
Instead of looking at failure as something to be avoided, look at it as an opportunity. Each time you fail, ask yourself why—what did I learn from this experience? How can I use this knowledge next time?
2. Fear of Flying (Success)
Fear of flying and fear of success are often linked, but I've found that they're not always the same thing. If you're worried about whether or not you'll be able to do something well (like fly), then you're really just afraid of failure. You're afraid that if you try something and fail at it, then people will think less of you than they did before. But here's the thing: people don't think less of people who fail—they think more highly of people who try! The fear of succeeding is the biggest obstacle to your success. It's something that we all have at some point, and it can make us feel like we don't deserve to be successful or we're not worthy of our dreams.
But here's the thing:
If you let your fear stop you from trying, then it's going to prevent you from being successful in any area of your life.
The only way around this is by taking action! If you're ready to start living a more successful life, then put what you've learned into practice and see what happens!
3. Unwise Counsel and Not Believing in Yourself
There is no reason why you can't succeed. But if you're having trouble with that, we've got some tips for you.
First, stop listening to people who tell you it's impossible. There is no such thing as unwise counsel or naysayers. Nothing will stop you from succeeding, so long as you believe in yourself.
4. No Plan or Knowledge of How to Begin
If you want to succeed, you need to have a plan. You can't just hope for the best and expect it to work out. You need to actually think about what you're doing, and how you're going to get there. Starting with S.M.A.R.T. Goals is a great way to get started. Take some courses or masterclasses in your industry, get familiar with processes and start planning!
5. Waiting on the Right Time
Waiting on the right time to start is the worst excuse for not succeeding.
The truth is, you can't wait for the perfect moment to begin. You need to create that moment yourself! Waiting on the right time to start is a lie. You don't need to wait for the perfect moment, or for all the stars to align in order for your dream to come true. You just need to start where you are, and do what you can with what you've got.
6. No Money to Start
Many people believe that they need to wait until they have enough money, or until they're in the right place, or until they have enough experience. It doesn't matter if you're waiting for better job opportunities or a higher paying position—you don't need any of that stuff in order to become an entrepreneur. You just need an idea and some drive! And if that's all it takes, then why not go for it right now? Tap into your low hanging fruit through a gift or talent and get moving today!
